Melody has arrived!

39 week appointment
My 39 week Doctors appointment and to be my last one this pregnancy! Doctor said I was about 3cm dilated
and still 90ish effaced. Baby still could come at anytime but she’s being a bit abstinent! We went ahead and scheduled an induction, that is if she doesn’t come before then. I should be having her on Tuesday, her original due date. Wow… can’t believe it’s almost over. So many feelings to describe! A bit overwhelming to an extent… a bit surreal.
Update on my Doctors visit for 38 weeks. I’m 90% effaced and 2cm dilated. Doc said I won’t make it to my
my due date for sure and maybe not even to my next appointment. I wish she should would come today so I can have some nice hospital air conditioning but until then, I am staying hydrated! I am so super uncomfortable… so I am just kicking back and relaxing and resting as much as I can!
Meet Melody, She's a very happy little girl full of so much energy and enthusiasm. She was diagnosed with Congenital Hypothyroidism at four days old and we are daily learning how to care for her condition through the grace of God.
Melody loves playing with friends and is very social with both children's and adults. She loves reading, crafting, playing with Legos, puzzles, having tea parties, dress up, and playing at the park.
Movies she loves: Up, Bolt, Ponyo, and My Neighbor Totoro.
Television she likes: Caillou, The Wiggles, Word World & Super Why.
Favorite book: Peek-a-Who & My Story Bible.
Favorite music: Laurie Berkner, Justin Roberts, The Squeegees, & Cedermont Kids.
Favorite Foods: Sushi, Pizza, Brocoli, and Green Apples.
