35 weeks

My how this last month has flown by! Before I know it, I’ll be holding my little girl in my arms but not just35-weeks-pregnant yet! Melody needs to continue to stay put as we scurry to get everything we need for her arrival! Later this evening we are going to pick up her cute little travel system of which I’ll take pictures of later. Expecting a few packages from my sister and my parents this week or next and then we have the baby shower next weekend! I am hoping I get most everything we need but I have a feeling things like baby bath tubs and the like are going to have to be purchased short after!

So how am I? Ive reached the point were I feel like a whale and look like one too? I’ve gotten really big and I should be huh… nearly 9 months pregnant! I eat all the time and when I am not eating I am wanting to nap or not sit… my back has been KILLING me lately! Only a few more weeks!

Worries…

I am having an interesting week so far. I had a very rough evening last night… some time after supper my back started hurting really bad followed by very intense stomach cramping, shortly after I spent sometime throwing up everything I had eaten for supper. I was quite quite dizzy and a bit worried about all the pains I was having. This morning, the stomach pain has seemed to subside from those of last night though I was having a few contractions, and my back still intensely hurts. To make things stranger I started hearing pops from inside my stomach. That worried me greatly due to the fact my Mom said she heard a pop and her last baby was born the same day. ( I don’t think that’s the case for me though)

I researched popping and found these results.

I am going to ask my doctor about all of this tomorrow since that’s when my next scheduled appointment is taking place but until then, I am going to stay off of my feet. We don’t want Melody here so soon.

34 weeks today

Okay, so we all survived the big move. I did have a few scares there over the weekend thinking my baby girl was going to decide to come on out a make an arrival.  I possibly was pushing myself a little to much and disrupting things. I only ever had three contraction in an hour and excessive pressure down below. Eeek. I’ll need to get Justin to put the crib up later as we’ve almost got everything situated in the house.

I am making a list of must haves for Melody. I am hoping people get the thing things I asked for on my registry like the care kits, thermometers, and the like for my baby shower. Those are very important things to have.  I am hoping I won’t have to but I have a feeling I’ll probably have to have a shopping trip after my baby shower to get everything I need for her before her arrival.

My doctors appointment is this Thursday.
