OvenArt Bakeware Silicone Muffin Pan Review
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I love baking and cooking all sorts of foods but one thing I don’t love is the scrubbing when it comes to washing the pans afterward. I tend to bake a lot and admit that often my pans really take a beating. I have to nearly replace them once a year due to flaking of the non-stick surface, rusting, and loss of an attractive appearance. I am pretty sure it’s one of the cons of putting pans through the dishwasher to remove that caked on food and perhaps a quality factor too. Whatever the case, it’s a quite discouraging mess and issue to have. It totally puts a damper on my joy for baking having to deal with the problems of my metal pans!
I had no idea that cleaning up after baking could be so simple until just recently when I was introduced into the world of silicone. The OvenArt Bakeware Silicone Muffin Pan has worked wonders for me. I’m no longer stressing over paper lining, non-stick spraying, or scrubbing when it comes to baking quiches, muffins, cupcakes, mini meatloaves, or any other muffin pan baked or shaped foods!
This fabulous muffin pan is made out of 100% high quality European silicone. It’s completely BPA-free & filler free. It’s extreme flexibility had everything I made in it releasing effortlessly. Since the pan is very flexible, I would recommend when using to always have it on top of another baking sheet to prevent any unwanted spills or messes. I’ve had nothing stick or cake on to this pan so far. It is suggested in instructions that you can lightly spray or grease each cup though. I didn’t with the quiches I made and they came out perfectly leaving nothing behind!
The sizing of the pan is 12.8 x 9.7 x 1.2 inches. Each of the 12 cups holds 2.5 ounces and measures 2 3/4 inches across. It’s the standard size so no worries of not having enough batter or too much depending on what you may use it for if following a standard recipe. I would suggest being careful when taking what you bake out. Don’t use any items that may scratch or puncture the pan! I can’t see why someone would considering how easily whatever is placed inside easily pops right out though. It’s safe for the oven, freezer, microwave, and the dishwasher. I’ve washed the pan by hand as well as in the dishwasher and it still looks good as the day I got it!
The OvenArt Bakeware Silicone Muffin Pan was a nice addition to any kitchen, in my opinion. It’s also protected by OvenArt’s 100% “Better Muffin” Lifetime Guarantee. I am quite happy with this pan and am considering getting another to I can make more foods at a time!
