Bankers Box Cubby Bin {review}

Bankers Box Cubby Bin is a stylish and decently price option for organizing. If baskets aren’t your thing and you are looking for something a bit more short term, I think this option would be good. It’s very simple to put together these boxes or to fold them flat when not in use. It took me less than a minute for both. The plastic pull handle is a nice touch and give the box a little more appeal. It’s also nice to have the handle there if you need to pull the box from a shelf or something like that. It takes zero tools or equipment to put these together!

cubbyboxThe grey and white pattern really is a nice touch! Unless you are really close up, you can’t tell these are made out of cardboard. I won’t tell anyone if you don’t! The pattern is neutral and can blend with just about any home design theme. Do note the boxes are 9.9″x10.1″x9″ so not too big but not to small either. It’s a nice in-between size and fits most standard shelves and cubby bins. The durability seems to be pretty strong. I wouldn’t go storing hand weights in these but most other things would work. No wet items, obviously since they are cardboard.

I’m currently using my boxes to store some of my yarn for knitting projects. These are a nicer option to use with no fear of anything snagging or catching my knitted items. I’m thinking about nabbing a couple more to use to organize some of my children’s school supplies. I can’t help but think how wonderful this set of boxes would be for someone going off to college with limited space or a for couple perhaps starting out needing short term organizing storage options before being able to purchase something more long term.
