Last week during my husband’s vacation time, we got to visit Oregon’s number one natural visitor attraction, Multnomah Falls. These falls are Situated in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, at a towering 620-feet, Multnomah Falls is the second tallest, year-round waterfall in the United States. (30 minutes east of Portland and it’s free to go)
We didn’t get the chance to hike the 1.2 mile trail to the top of the falls but we plan on going back. It would have been hard to carry both kids all the way up and then back down ( not stroller friendly). Instead we were able to look at the falls and get a few nice photos on Benson Bridge and let the kids play in the water a bit. The kids had been sick a week before and on this day, I was coming down with it. No fun to be sick during a vacation but at least we were able to stay home and relax after our trip. I’m glad to have marked visiting “Multnomah Falls” off my Oregon Bucket List too!
