DVD Review & Giveaway: Classic Series Babar Season 1

I’m pleased to announce that today, The Classic Series Babar is being released on DVD for the first time as a complete season. Babar has been a favorite of mine since I was child and I am so happy that it’s been digitally restored and remastered so I can share the Jean de Brunhoff’s lovable jungle character that gets introduced into the big city with my own children.

The Classic Series Babar Season One comes with two discs which feature seven episodes each. Each of the DVDs feature moral stories that children can learn from! One of my favorites is episode #2 which is when Babar makes his way to the city and is introduced to the Old Lady whom teaches him how to fit into the city ways of things in Celesteville. And another is episode #7 when Babar subjects get caught up in trying to build a rocket to the moon!

The running time in entirety is almost 300 minutes long. So you’ll have plenty of Babar to enjoy along with your child for many days during any season, that is unless you plan on having a Babar marathon this Summer! Babar is family friendly entertainment that endearing stories full of many challenge and valuable life lessons will leave a mark for a lifetime!

I can’t say enough good things about Babar! I love it and both my children enjoy it quite a bit too! I highly recommend picking this DVD to share with the children in your own life. You can purchase Babar – The Classic Series Season One right now on Amazon.com for 17.98 and it’s eligible for free shipping!

We own one Babar Christmas DVD. That is the only one that my kids have ever seen. We don’t have “tv” so the only things they get to watch are dvd’s that we approve!
