Hello World Clothing {review & giveaway}

Hello World Clothing Company offers the most adorable and functional sleepers as well as other baby and toddler attire I have set my eyes on to date! With that being said, I wish I had known about them 2 1/2 years ago when I delivered my first bundle of joy into the world!

This Mom’s Thoughts…

I was given the opportunity to review one of  Hello World’s smart zip sleepers for my upcoming bundle of blue due to arrive sometime in January.  First I must say how fun the names of each of the lines are! There’s Blue me Away (For Little Boys), Made Me Blush (For Little Girls), and Olive You More (Great for either boy or girl!).

I received a 0-3 month smart zip sleeper in Blue me Away! It’s long sleeved but shouldn’t over heat your baby at all. I love how trendy looking the sleeper is with it’s brown sleeves and matching non-slip brown footies!

This sleeper is very unique in it’s design as it can be zipped from the top or the bottom! This  fantastic two way zipper feature  is a God-send as you don’t have to completely undress your baby making him or her cold for diaper changes! Can we say genius?

This sleeper is safe for baby with the added traditional snap flap at the top by babies chin and a fabric cover at the bottom to prevent access from curious  little hands to the zipper.

I’ve been washing all the baby clothes lately and this sleeper went in the wash too! It came out perfectly with no shrinkage, no fading, and feeling as soft and comfortable as ever! The SmartZip Sleeper is 100% interlock cotton instead of ribbed. It’s  flexible and holds it’s shape making for no baggy knees or elbows.

I can’t till my little boy gets here so I can start using this great smart zip sleeper. And I only thinks is suitable to eventually invest in a pair of the smart zip pants that Hello World Clothing Company recently added to their line! This mom definitely gives these products two thumbs way up but don’t just take my word for it, read what other mom’s are saying too!

My Thoughts…

I knew I had to pick up this book. Why? Well you see I grew up in house with four sisters, one older and three younger. I currently have a two year old daughter of my own and just found out that baby number two is low and behold boy! Boys are completely  new territory to me and I knew I would need some sort of resource to help me figure a few things out. And with that being said,  I couldn’t have picked up a better book but I’m Outnumbered:  One Mom’s Lessons in the Lively Art of Raising Boys by Laura Lee Groves.

I had questions and I got practical answers about boys. I learned so much from each chapter that I’m sure I’m going to give this book a re-read and start taking notes and highlighting as the years go by with raising my own son.  I see this book as a good resource whether you have one or multiple sons. I personally loved also that there is a section in the book that has Laura’s husband voice his thoughts on each section of the book! There is also a section for single moms on how to raise boys.

There’s a Bible Verse in this book that reads ” My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love” – Col 2:2. I certainly was encouraged by this book and I feel other mom’s of sons will be too. I highly recommend it!
