LOL with God: Devotional Messages of Hope & Humor for Women
by Pam Farrel and Dawn Wilson.
I was quite intrigued when I first heard about LOL with God. I’m always looking to add devotional study books to add to my shelf and this one though not as deep as some I have it’s definitely a keeper.
Each daily devotion opens with stories that involve connecting and technology of some sorts topped with a text message that plays part into the daily reading and how we can apply it to our own lives. To tie of the devotion there’s four sections; Send up a Message, Text Helps, Your Turn, and LOL. Which translates into a daily a prayer, scripture verses to take to heart, a section to write and convey your thoughts, and the LOL section is basically a short story to makes us smile and go about our day a little more cheerful.
I’m not a huge texter so I am pretty thankful that there were translations to many of the phrases and word shortcuts used in this book. I am sure anyone who is an avid texter and is more up on technology than me is going to love this book.

Halloween is right around the corner and though that’s one of the most popular holidays to start looking for the perfect costume for my daughter, it’s not the only reason I’ve started working on a collection of kids costumes in my home.
Costumes are perfect for pretend play and dress up because it encourages imaginative play in children. I love that my daughter has already embraced this at only just two years old. What could be better than to act out all sorts of fun adventures and stories with your child and them with their friends and siblings?
Just recently I was given the opportunity to review a stunning Plum Pixie Toddler Costume through the Costume Super Center for my daughter. And I must say to date, this costume is by far one of the most adorable toddler costumes that we’ve owned! As you can see from the photos of my daughter really loves this costume too. I told my husband she would look at home in an enchanted forest and perhaps sitting on top of giant mushroom!
The very elegant a purple chiffon dress with a velour top and the flowered bottom skirt tie together to make a beautiful sprite like outfit. This costume was priced really decently for including the gossamer wings, a wand and flowered headpiece which for most costumes are sold separately.
I was very impressed with the costume I reviewed and not just that, I loved the massive collection of costumes for everyone in the family! You’ll find everything from pirates, princesses, fire fighters, super heroes, and more! Also if you need make up or certain accessories there are plenty to choose from.
Costume Supercenter.com has a In Home Delivery Calculator with Same Day Shipping if the order is purchased before 3 PM EST. Also, there is free shipping on exchanges, sizes and damaged goods/errors. They accept most major credit cards and PayPal.
Costume prices vary from 9.99 and up, everything decently priced! Note that right now they offer free 2-day shipping on orders of $40 or more (use code FREE40).
I am quite the fan Costume Super Center and will totally be looking there for future purchases of costumes. I am already on the search for an adorable princess costume for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and we’ll also have to get something for her new little brother!
I received this product free of charge for review on my blog. No other compensation was received. The views and opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.
