I’m a huge fan of Green Toys, as I also have a tea set and a dishware play set from this company. What parent could not love that all of their toys are made from 100% recycled plastic right here in the USA? I love the fact that this company is doing every thing they can to save energy by focusing on transportation cost even when it comes down to packaging!
This Summer my daughter was given the Sand Play Set from Green Toys and we’ve been nothing but happy with how it’s been holding up! This set includes 4 pieces:
- Sand Castle Mold
First I have to say, it’s cute! And it looks like it would be right at home at the beach! Doesn’t? I love the rope handle because it’s strong and you don’t have to worry about a flimsy plastic one that I’m sure most people think will snap under the weight of wet sand. How about that subtle color? It makes this set great for either boys or girls. I have no dislikes about this set and would recommend it highly!
Green Toys offers many other wonderful products as well that are all durable, educational, engaging, interactive, and lots of fun! I encourage everyone to check them out as I known I’ve been pretty excited about all the new additions to their toy line!
If you are thinking of owning this set, it will cost you anywhere from $15 to $20 depending on where you purchase it.

Her are her thoughts…
My family and I have always been fans of Scholastic. We have been homeschooling ever since 1989 and we have included many products from Scholastic in our curriculum and homeschool library. Now, we can enjoy the read-along series by Scholatic Storybook Treasures.
My four-year-old enjoys watching and listening to "The Wheels on the Bus" DVD's and CD. Included in this kit is a 34 page activity book with mazes, matching, dot-to-dots and more. This is a wonderful product to include over the summer vacation. Travel can be boring for the little ones and the Sing-Along Travel Kit will make long or short trips more fun. The whole family can get in on the fun with the fun songs like "The Wheels on the Bus", "Dem Bones", "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" and many other fantastic songs.
This past month we went to the mountains and rented a home on the lake. I would have loved to have the travel kit for the more quieter moments on our vacation, especially when it rained.

Bella and Gracies Etsy Boutique offers many wonderfully unique products for both children to adults! I really enjoyed browsing through the selection of adorable handmade dresses, tank tops, tutus, pettiskirts, and more! While taking in Bella and Gracies gallery, I myself was even inspired as an artist seeing the unique color combination and chic styles of apparel offered. I loved the professional photos and seeing the smiling faces of each of the children wearing the apparel was an added bonus!
Graciously, Karen Stinchfield the woman behind Bella and Gracies Etsy Boutique gave me the opportunity to review an adorable tank top dress for my two year old daughter. The dress I was sent is basically a black tank top with red and white polka-dot twirly skirt, and heart applique. Bottom of the dress is lined with white eyelet. It’s so simple yet absolutely adorable! The dress totally reminds me of Minnie mouse and though a little big at the moment it looks great on my daughter who is pretty small for her age!
I enjoyed getting to Karen through my Etsy meet and greet questions and hope you do too!
1.Why did you decide to start doing this on Etsy and how long have you been?
I have been on Etsy for a year now, but have really concentrated on my store for the past few months. I really enjoy sewing and creating new products and Etsy was a great venue for me to sell them as well.
2. What do you enjoy the most when creating your products?
I really enjoy seeing someone wearing my finished product. Sometimes I am not sure how it will look on, and when I see it I am so excited and inspired to do more.
3. Apart from creating things, what do you do?
I am actually a math teacher, sewing was something I discovered a few years ago, and now I am addicted!
4. What inspires you?
Other designers inspire me. I can spend hours on Etsy looking at all the creative products. I am so amazed at the gathered talent Etsy has.
5.In five years you’d like to be…? In five years I will probably be doing the same thing but hope my store has grown. I really enjoy teaching and that is where my retirement fund will come from. In the same token I can’t imagine not creating and learning more and more about sewing.
